Math- Long Division Test

As a reminder, the Chapters 13 and 14 Test over long division is this Thursday, 2/13.  The students were given the study guide today.  Again, it is very important that students know their multiplication and division facts and continue to review them.  The study guides always mimic the test.  Therefore, the test only has 9 long division problems.  Students will earn points for each problem by solving the long division and then checking their answers with long multiplication on the attached grid paper.  They must accurately compute both the long division problem and then work out the long multiplication to earn full credit on each problem.  Also, the back of the test will contain 4 word problems that are very similar to the ones on the study guide.  This week and last week we have been reviewing word problems.  Tomorrow we will continue to practice solving word problems.  Students will also get work time for the study guide.  Don't forget, students have been using their "froggy" packets each night to help them in solving long division problems.
